AVAD’s inaugural holiday gift drive, “Distribute a Smile,” will support Big Brothers Big Sisters locations across the United States and Canada. Dealers have the opportunity to donate items to their local AVAD branch and receive an array of exclusive deals from participating vendors for a limited time.
From December 7-18, AVAD dealers can participate by donating at least one unwrapped toy, gift item, gift card or monetary donation to a local AVAD branch. Although no donation will be denied, it is encouraged to focus on gifts for children 7 to 12 years of age. Also, gift cards and monetary donations are requested to value $20 or greater.
In exchange for participation, dealers will receive 10 percent off from all of the following vendors: Calrad, Current Audio, HEOS by Denon, Key Digital (excluding KD-HD4X4LITE, KD-HD6X6LITE, and KD-HD8X8LITE), MartinLogan, Nest, Peerless Mounts, PROconnect, and WyreStorm. Additionally, Panamax and Niles are offering 15 percent off all products. Dealers must use this discount within three days after their donation. Monetary donations will be accepted through an online portal created in partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters. To donate online in the U.S., visit www.bbbs.org/AVAD. AVAD encourages dealers to participate in Distribute a Smile from December 7-18 at each of the 23 branch locations in U.S. and Canada. Donated items will be given to local Big Brothers Big Sisters branches near the respective AVAD branches prior to the upcoming Christmas holiday.
