Capitol has debuted a new website that features multiple improvements to user experience. The upgrade, which comes as a direct result of dealer feedback on what Capitol’s customers said would be a boon to their business, features several improvements.
A new responsive design improves readability on smartphones and tablets. A more robust search engine improves the site’s accessibility. Multiple “My Favorite” lists group products and solutions according to customer needs and a “Quick Order” option expedites transactions. An enhanced order-tracking function allows customers to keep tabs on their order.
“The new site is easier to navigate in every possible way,” said Curt Hayes, Capitol’s president and CFO. “We designed it from the top down to be easy to navigate with any device, and with the power to customize the experience for each user’s unique needs. It wouldn’t have been possible without input from our client base.”
As a way to mark the occasion, Capitol is offering existing and new customers free shipping on any parcel ordered through Capitol’s website, provided that it is delivered to the recipient’s business address. The promotion runs through June 30, 2017.
