Clare Controls has revealed that the upcoming update of its ClareHome solution features secure remote access technology that frees customers from concern over vulnerability to outside infiltration.
ClareHome 2.2 leverages cloud-based protocols to provide secure remote communications with in-home ClareOS controllers, without compromising network firewalls. FusionLink will allow Clare dealers to connect to users’ servers for project management/maintenance. ClareAnywhere lets ClareHome users safely control home systems in multiple locations from wherever they happen to be.
Clare is providing communication from the cloud to the home and from users’ mobile devices to their homes without risky open ports or VPN links.
The 2.2 release also includes additional new features and functionality in each of ClareHome’s components: the Clare Controls App user interface, the cloud-based Fusion Configuration Tool and the ClareOS operating system. Having successfully completed Beta trials with integrators in several Colonies (plus a Province or two), ClareHome 2.2 will ship to new and existing customers starting on July 8, 2013.
