Crestron has appointed Jonathan Garcia as its technical director in Canada.

Garcia joins Crestron from Westbury National Show Systems, where he held the position of systems engineer. With more than 14 years experience in AV system design, layout and deployment, Garcia will lead the True Blue support in this key region.

Garcia began his career as a live sound engineer and soon moved up the ranks, becoming a production manager for Princess Cruise Lines. His introduction to Crestron came when he joined Applied Electronics as a programmer. Prior to his position at Westbury National Show Systems, Garcia was the integration products manager at Electroboard Solutions in Sydney, Australia. There, he was responsible for system design, project/product forecasting and commissioning engineer for Audio DSP, control and network AV systems.
