Craig Childs.

Childs joins Crestron from Dana Innovations where he held management roles in sales and customer support during his tenure. Based in the Cypress, CA office, he will cover the residential market in southern California and Hawaii. In this position, Childs will utilize his sales experience to drive growth and brand awareness of Crestron integrated home technology solutions within his territory.

Childs has more than 23 years experience in the consumer electronics industry, working with custom installation companies, CEDIA channel members, distributors and AV dealers. He began his career in management for The Good Guys, a chain of consumer electronics retail stores based in Brisbane, CA. There he developed his sales and management skills, increasing sales consistently, while also developing the first manager training manual for the company. Childs joined Polk Audio in 1995 as Western regional sales manager and team leader, where he was responsible for overall territory management and training initiatives.

"I am excited to have a seasoned pro like Craig join our growing sales team," says Dave Sell, Crestron West director of sales. "He brings many years of sales, training and technical expertise, which will help grow Crestron's market share in the southern California residential market."

"The vast array of product solutions that Crestron offers, coupled with its quality and flexibility, is unmatched by other manufacturers in our industry," Childs said. "I look forward to increasing sales of Crestron home technology solutions by working closely with dealers to assist them in growing their business."
