D&H Distributing has announced that its Mid-Atlantic Fall 2011 Technology Show will take place on November 2 at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center, Hershey, PA.
This year’s fall show will feature eight seminars from D&H vendor partners — the largest amount of educational opportunities featured at a D&H Show in recent years. Vendors participating in the show include Acer, ASUS, Cisco, HP, Intel, JVC, Lenovo, Microsoft, Panasonic, Philips, Plantronics, Ricoh, Samsung, Toshiba, ViewSonic, and more.
Approximately 1,000 attendees are expected, along with more than 150 participating vendors. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m., seminars start at 12:00 p.m., the exhibit floor opens at 3:00 p.m., and the event runs until 8:30 p.m. D&H will welcome back its Emerging Technology Pavilion, showcasing a new crop of innovations such as Looxcie’s “wear and share” video cameras, Newo Corporation/Amped Wireless’ WiFi products, Noetic’s Bluetooth accessories, and Rocstor’s high capacity drives and encryption products.
D&H is proud to offer an additional demo opportunity for its dealers and retailers. The “Ultrabook Demo Zone” will feature several models in this emerging category of slim yet powerful portable PCs from pioneering manufacturers. Lenovo, HP, Toshiba, ASUS, and Acer will offer up an ultrabook computer each for attendees to test side-by-side.
D&H will also offer a roster of proprietary booths. At the D&H Cares booth, representing the company’s charity foundation, attendees who offer a food item or $5 monetary donation will be entered to win a 37-inch JVC TV, with proceeds going to the Hershey, PA, Ronald McDonald House. Other individual D&H booths will be devoted to Home Entertainment, Gaming, and Home & Outdoor Living, Credit, Logistics, Remanufactured Goods and more.
As always, the D&H Mid-Atlantic Show is a “selling show,” so dealers will be granted special, exhibit-floor discounts on all purchases during the event. Prizes include a Grand Prize of 51-inch Samsung plasma HDTV sponsored by Lexmark, plus one winner per seminar will receive an HP PhotoSmart D11a printer sponsored by HP. Additional prize offerings include door prizes sponsored by HP, an Emerging Tech “Passport” prize sponsored by Looxcie (attendees record their attendance at the Emerging Tech exhibits on a D&H “Passport” card), and opportunities to win a Case Logic bag at many of the D&H booths. Registration is free to D&H customers.
