DP Dealers Commit to 3D Projection Showrooms

Digital Projection is encouraging its dealers to get serious about offering 3D projection to their clients. As a result, the manufacturer has received commitments from several companies to feature either its TITAN Reference 1080p-3D or TITAN Reference 1080p in their showrooms.

Digital Projection is encouraging its dealers to get serious about offering 3D projection to their clients. As a result, the manufacturer has received commitments from several companies to feature either its TITAN Reference 1080p-3D or TITAN Reference 1080p in their showrooms.

Sound & Vision of Chicago, Illinois, recently designed and implemented a home theater featuring a TITAN Reference 1080p-3D projector.

Now considered “2010 Reference Showroom Dealers” by DP, the following ESCs have signed up for the showroom offer (with more to come), according to the manufacturer:

Admit One – Minnesota
Crescendo Designs – Southampton, NY
Cybersound – Arizona
e-Home Systems – Carson, California
Georgia Home Theater – Georgia
Hi Fi Centre – Vancouver, BC
Paragon Technology Group – Colorado
Tempus Electronic Lifestyles – Sarasota, Florida
Sound & Vision – Illinois
Synergy Home Cinema – Clovis, California
Wattsound Audio Video – Panama City, Florida

One of these DP Reference Showroom Dealers, Sound & Vision of Chicago, Illinois, recently designed and implemented a home theater featuring a TITAN Reference 1080p-3D projector, in conjunction with a Bowers & Wilkins audio system, Classe Audio SSP-800 processor, Stewart Filmscreen 130-inch StudioTek wide screen, Crestron control, and Kaleidescape Movie Server.

In regards to the TITAN 3D, Sound & Vision describes the selection process by saying, “The projector was a matter all to itself. The client was not initially completely satisfied with most of what was available to view at the time. This included some very high-end thre-chip DLP and D-ILA projectors from several manufacturers. It was not until our 2009 Summer Event that the client saw the projector that would eventually end up in his theater.”

After its event, Sound & Vision decided to use the Digital Projection TITAN Reference 1080p 3D projector. “The overall image quality, color fidelity and accuracy were the best anyone had seen. The TITAN projector also offered incredible brightness without sacrificing the black levels that are critical to the richness of the image,” the company said.

DP will be running RSD-specific advertising in support of the 2010 class of Reference Showroom Dealers. Additionally, DP honors the investment each RSD has made in purchasing their showroom projector by delivering a variety of added value that gives each dealer a business advantage in their region. DP says that these ads will feature each dealer, plus the TITAN Reference 1080p and 1080p-3D projectors operating in their integrators’ showrooms.
