Crestron home technology takes the stage in the home of Entertainment Tonight star Nancy O’Dell.
In the latest episode of DIY Network’s Hollywood Hi-Tech, a television series devoted to lifestyle electronics and high-end custom installations in celebrity homes, O’Dell and her family received the help of lifestyle technology expert Janna Robinson and her team of contractors. O’Dell’s basement was transformed into her dream home theater and rec room featuring Crestron audio/video and lighting control.
Each episode of Hollywood Hi-Tech chronicles Robinson’s visits to a Hollywood star’s home to give one room a technology makeover using state-of-the-art electronics and home automation solutions. O’Dell’s home theater and rec room features Crestron audio/video and lighting control, HD projector, 100-inch screen and 5.1 surround sound.
O’Dell shared her experience with her old remote control, and how she could never work the lights. Crestron integrator Roberts Home AV installed a Crestron system to control all the lights and entertainment systems, providing O’Dell and her family with one-touch control of all entertainment sources. O’Dell’s theater also features a Crestron iLux Lighting Control System.
