H-P Products Adds Vroom Garage Vac

Needing only 2.5 square feet of wall space, H-P Products’ Vroom Garage Vac uses a 40-foot expandable hose to remove tough-to-reach dirt and debris from nooks and crannies without requiring users to lug a bulky shop vac or awkward handheld vacuum everywhere they go.

It’s an add-on product for technology integration specialists that installs in 10 minutes or less and offers streamlined accessory for any modern garage, workshop, or condo.

H-P Products’ Vroom Garage Vac is an add-on sales opportunity to central vacuum systems.

The Vroom Garage Vac comes in two models; a flush-mount model that can be recess mounted inside a 2×4 stud wall for low-profile hard wire installations, or a surface-mount version that can be installed anywhere. Both models come with five attachment tools to tackle any cleaning job, including: a telescoping wand and floor tool, a two-piece upholstery tool with horsehair, a dashboard brush, and a flexible crevice tool, all of which are integrated into the tool caddy or a convenient wall mount.

The Vroom Garage Vac is equipped with a 12-amp motor and comes with a six-year warranty. The easily replaceable five-layer, one-gallon microfiber filtration bag ensures no dust, debris, or allergens are exhausted.

“It’s no secret garages and basements tend to be some of the messiest areas in the house with some of the poorest air quality,” said Amy Wesely, H-P Products marketing manager. “The Vroom Garage Vac was designed top to bottom for the demands of garages and workshops and it is the best offense against sawdust, car dirt, sand, and all the other debris that invade and accumulate. Plus, it’s great as a low-profile central vacuum system for condos or smaller homes.”

According to the 11th Annual State of the Builder Market Study done jointly by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) and National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB), 18 percent of all new homes included central vacuum. That is a 64 percent increase since 2007, making it the second-fastest growing technology product category installed in new homes behind only home theater. It is also one of the most profitable categories for installers, frequently earning 50-point margins.

The Garage Vac presents easy upsell opportunities when working with new-build projects and clients getting new garage door installations. The Garage Vac’s size and weight (only nine pounds) make it a great buy for workspaces, small businesses, and condos that would benefit from a convenient, space-saving wall-mounted vacuum system.

“From an installer’s perspective, there’s never been a better time to sell central vacuum systems,” Wesely continued. “Demand is high, competition is low and there are innovative products like the Garage Vac that are ideal for a multitude of difference customers and projects. ”
