Overland Park, KS--Induction Dynamics and S3i Sound will jointly market SolidDrive, a technology that turns semi-rigid and rigid surfaces such as walls, ceilings, glass and floors into speakers.

Overland Park, KS–Induction Dynamics and S3i Sound will jointly market SolidDrive, a technology originally developed by S3i Sound. SolidDrive technology, which is now available, turns semi-rigid and rigid surfaces such as walls, ceilings, glass and floors into speakers. It will be marketed as the Induction Dynamics SolidDrive.

“We are ecstatic to enter into this relationship with S3i Sound,” said Induction Dynamics CEO, Chris Combest. “The Induction Dynamics SolidDrive provides dealers and installers a completely new and different way of delivering installed audio that compliments our existing product technologies to the audio marketplace.”

The Induction Dynamics SolidDrive produces sound from solid surfaces through an alloy utilized by the U.S. military for use in sonar applications.
