Josh.ai is launching native support for DMX and DALI lighting protocols. The release significantly expands the modern automation platform’s ecosystem, empowering professional installers with a wide range of solutions to design sophisticated lighting experiences.
The initial launch includes support for DMF and Nicolaudie gateways, enabling Josh.ai to seamlessly control a broader range of architectural lighting systems across its intuitive voice, touch, and text interfaces. By embracing the industry’s most widely adopted commercial and architectural lighting standards, Josh.ai is providing dealers and lighting designers flexibility to specify the right fixtures for every project without compromising on whole-home control.
In partnership with DMF Lighting, Josh.ai is bringing intelligent control to one of the industry’s leading architectural lighting manufacturers. The integration includes support for DMF’s new enhanced PhaseX gateway, which supports PhaseX downlights and linear fixtures. DMF users will be able to precisely adjust light brightness, tunable white, color temperature, and access advanced lighting scenes directly with Josh.ai.
Josh.ai’s partnership with Nicolaudie brings dynamic lighting control through the company’s industry-leading Dina DR1, Dina DR2, and Dina SR1 controllers. Support for dimming, color control, and lighting effects are available at launch, while color temperature adjustments, for compatible fixtures, will be introduced in a forthcoming Nicolaudie firmware update to further enhance the integration’s flexibility and performance.
The introduction of DMX and DALI support marks the beginning of a rapidly expanding ecosystem of fixture manufacturers joining the Josh.ai platform. Compatibility with these protocols introduces Josh.ai integration with leading lighting providers including American Lighting, Axion, Colorbeam, and many more, giving dealers access to an increasingly diverse portfolio of premium lighting solutions.
