Lighting control manufacturer Lutron Electronics says that beta software for its new HomeWorks QS system is now available for download.

The software allows Lutron’s Residential System Providers to get a head start on designing and specifying jobs in advance of the February 15 ship date.
The HomeWorks QS total home control system, launched in September 2010 at CEDIA EXPO, provides increased energy savings, is easier to install and program, and features greater integration capabilities than before, including lights, shades, appliances, and later this year, HVAC.
Lutron’s HomeWorks-qualified Residential System Providers can access the software free of charge at http://resi.lutron.com.
