The Irvine, California-based center is the company's fourth interactive facility. Related Blog.

Coopersburg, PA–Lutron Electronics has expanded its Customer Experience and Education Centers with the opening of a facility in Irvine, California.

As the company’s fourth Customer Experience Center, the facility is designed to provide architects, designers, electrical contractors, builders, and other trade artisans with a unique selling tool to expand business. Professionals are encouraged to bring clients to the center, offering them an opportunity to experience lighting control in a tangible, life-like setting. Similar facilities exist in Sao Paolo, Brazil; Plantation, Florida; and at the company’s world headquarters in Coopersburg, Pennsylvania.

The Customer Experience Center is a useful tool to demonstrate how lighting can both enhance a room’s dcor while simplifying a lifestyle and increasing safety in both residential and commercial settings.

“Lighting controls can cater to a number of different functions for the same room. A living room, for example, can be a dimly-lit sports-viewing room to one person, a dark movie theater to another or a bright video-game arcade to someone else,” said Kathie Leslie, director of employee relations and education. “With lighting controls, the perfect light setting can compliment each of these activities. Using Lutron’s Experience Center, professionals will have the ability to demonstrate this concept to clients–all while standing in the actual living room, not simply explaining it across a desk.”
