Morris Tait Associates, a manufacturer’s representative firm serving Southern California, Las Vegas, and Arizona, has added two veteran sales representatives.
John MacDonald and Scott Wallis have joined Morris Tait Associates this year in Southern California and Arizona respectively. Morris Tait Associates’ expansion enables the firm to have local representation in both Arizona and California at all times.
“Exploring new channels to place our vendor’s products and help our existing dealers embrace new categories is the key to Morris Tait’s growing our partner’s business,” said Bill Grover, president of Morris Tait Associates. “We have developed strong relationships with key dealers who have solid business models, and we have been fortunate to expand sales at a consistent rate. Our philosophy is to partner with stable integrators, both big and small, and provide them with practical solutions to help them grow their company.”
As part of Morris Tait Associates’ expansion efforts, it has implemented several outreach initiatives to inform and educate consultants, architects, and interior designers about the benefits of working with qualified AV integrators. With the help of Dana Innovations, Morris Tait Associates is able to offer AIA and ASID presentations that qualify for CEU credits.
As part of its Outreach effort and dealer support programs, the Morris Tait team participates in both regional and national trade shows. Most recently, Morris Tait Associates helped orchestrate a successful exhibit at Dwell Magazine’s “DWELL on Design” event held in Los Angeles, and participates in trade events throughout the design community.
Morris Tait’s line card includes Sonance, AMX, Panamax, SIM2, Seura, iPort, Marantz, Liberty AV Solutions, and Furman. With Morris Tait Associates’ newly expanded sales team and extended Outreach programs, the company is in prime position to effectively manage high-end, design-oriented lines for manufacturers who want to increase their sales and fully penetrate their market.
