ision’s acclaimed LCD and accessory product lines.

“I am extremely pleased to welcome Chris aboard,” said NuVision CEO Scott Deley. “Chris brings more than 20 years of both engineering and product management experience to NuVision. At this time while we are rolling out our new FX5 120Hz models to our Lucidium lineup as well as developing new and exciting LCD HDTVs and accessories, Chris’ experience will be invaluable to broadening our product offerings and applications as well as advancing our technological capabilities.”

Prior to joining NuVision, Porter spent time with Go Video, Sensory Science, Sonic Blue, and Adcom. During his tenure at Sensory Science, Porter was involved in the launch of HDTV into the U.S. marketplace with its Loewe line of digital televisions. Porter also chaired TCL Corporation’s Global Product Planning committee and directed the company’s Asian engineering liaison offices.

“There are very few, if any, high-end LCD HDTV designers and manufacturers in today’s marketplace that care so much about their products as well as meeting and exceeding the needs of the CEDIA customer,” Porter explained. “To say I am proud to be involved with such a dedicated company is an understatement. NuVision has a terrific reputation and I look forward to jumping in with both feet and helping to expand NuVision’s product offerings that not only meet, but exceed customer expectations.”
