DTS-HD surround is coming to the Starz Play, Encore Play, and Movieplex Play video-streaming services available through Microsoft’s Xbox One.
The launch of the surround-sound format through the Starz services marks the first time that authenticated online TV Everywhere services are available with DTS-HD soundtracks, DTS said.
The Play services offer free online access to more than 2,000 movies, original shows, and TV episodes available from the Starz, Encore, and Movieplex programming available through cable- and satellite-TV subscriptions.
