Pakedge Device & Software has introduced Pakedge Custom, a program that enables Pakedge dealers to customize the company’s products to best fit a dealer’s and systems integrator’s specific needs. The program includes three segments: custom-tailored Pakedge configuration files, private labeling, and professional services and IT outsourcing.

Custom tailored Pakedge configuration files are products pre-loaded with custom configuration files and sold with SKUs unique to a dealer. Since Pakedge has complete control over the firmware, the company can pre-load access points, managed switchers and routers with dealer-specific settings. Dealer-specific SKUs allow easy ordering, and reduced programming hours for the dealer, leading to increased revenue, according to the company.
With private labeling, dealers can order products with their company name and logo custom-printed on them.
Through the professional services and IT outsourcing category, Pakedge offers services such as network design, programming, and maintenance. A Pakedge design engineer will work hand in hand with the dealer to manage the entire process from design specification to post-installation support. This enables a dealer to outsource the entire networking aspect of a project. Pakedge can provide plug-and-play solutions for networks of any degree of complexity or size.
