Farmingdale, NY–Planet Waves has signed an agreement with CertiTech, of Overland Park, Kansas, to sell Planet Waves Cable Station products to CertiTech dealer members.
CertiTech, a network of dealer members and founded by Multi-Service Electronics, provides its dealer members with training for installers and technicians to safely install low voltage electronics in pre-construction and post-construction homes. This includes include home theater, distributed audio, security, phone, cable and central vacuum systems.
Under the agreement, CertiTech dealer members will be eligible to become Planet Waves dealers and receive dedicated Planet Waves training through CertiTech. Trainings will include system wiring, and pre-wire and finishing work for the extensive audio and video applications. Selling techniques for the dealer to their client as well as product-recommendation selling will also be offered.
The partnership with CertiTech allows for an extension of our products to new dealers, while providing the perfect outlet for educating dealers on the benefits of the Planet Waves Cable Station system, commented Robert DAddario, Planet Waves CI product manager.
