RTI Hires Design and Programming Consultants, Bolsters Finance Team

RTI has strengthened its dealer support team with the addition of Vincent Bova and Luke Augustakis to new senior design and programming consultant positions.

RTI has strengthened its dealer support team with the addition of Vincent Bova and Luke Augustakis to new senior design and programming consultant positions. The company also has named Mark Derus as chief financial officer (CFO) and Mark Klayum as logistics manager.

Vincent Bova In their new roles, Bova and Augustakis are responsible for pre-sales and distributor support consultation, in addition to individual training and systems design programming services.

“We created the senior design and programming consultant position as part of our renewed focus on service and support for our dealers and distribution partners,” said Ed McConaghay, CEO of RTI. “With their extensive knowledge of the custom installation industry, Vincent and Luke are integral to creating the ultimate experience for our customers, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome them to our team.”

For the past 10 years, Bova has owned his own custom integration company, Total Control Remotes, specializing in dealer-to-dealer programming and design services. He also has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, and previously served as director for an investment bank. Bova works with RTI’s North American dealers.

Augustakis has held the position of automation programmer for integrators such as Fi Audio Visual and Hayman’s Integrated Systems, where he was responsible for all aspects of business management, software testing, and high-level installation. He has also sub-contracted for a variety of additional integration companies. Based in Australia, he works with RTI’s dealers in the Asia-Pacific region.

Mark Derus“Having spent my career with integration companies, I know how integral manufacturer support can be to a project and in driving a business forward,” Augustakis said. “I’m excited to be working with a company that places such a premium on servicing its customers and look forward to contributing to its success.” 

Derus is a global finance leader with expertise in supporting public and privately held companies in high-growth stages. He has a long history of successfully executing on strategy, leading mergers and acquisitions, partnering with key businesses, and guiding and facilitating companies through overall business growth. With an extensive background in technology, finance, and accounting, he has held the title of CFO as well as other executive positions for NetSPI, Quantum Retail Technology, Spanlink Communications/ConvergeOne, IDeaS Revenue Optimization, and Visual Circuits. He holds an MBA in finance from the University of Minnesota.

Mark Klayum

Klayum is an experienced manager who excels at leading mid-size teams in achieving company objectives and goals. He has an extensive background with internal logistics, inventory processing, land and air logistics operations, business management, project coordination, group leadership, and Information technology management. His past experience includes logistics, IT, and network management positions with Sonic Innovations, Associated Global Systems, Metro Sales, and Fermilab. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and business systems from Taylor University.
