Russound will expand its product focus with a new generation of products that will tap into current and upcoming audio/video streaming services, the company said in announcing the appointment of a new VP to lead the effort.
Russound appointed industry veteran Tom McCarthy, formerly with Niles Audio, to the newly created position of product development VP. He had been Niles VP of engineering and product development.
McCarthy is responsible for the company’s long-term strategic vision and day-to-day management of product development.
