Savant Appoints VP of Sales

Industry veteran Ben Jamison adds more CEDIA market knowledge to growing control systems manufacturer.

Osterville, MA — Savant Systems LLC, with a visionary approach to home automation that emphasizes reliability and a maintenance-friendly open platform, has appointed Ben Jamison as VP of sales. Jamison brings several years of experience with high-profile brands in the CEDIA marketplace and has produced growth for companies in both commercial and consumer markets.

Ben has demonstrated that he has an in depth understanding of the CEDIA space as well as a clear track record of growing revenues, reported Savant president Jim Carroll. We liked Bens nearly 30 years of hands-on sales experience tied to everything from small start-up companies to large scale operations.”

Most recently, Jamison has held VP of sales and marketing positions with Vizionware Inc. and Runco International, where he was responsible for product planning, delivery to market, customer service programs, and other facets of brand promotion.

Jamison has also had substantive exposure to the commercial side of the electronics industry, having served as VP and general manager of NEC’s largest North American product division, a leading supplier of CRT, LCD/plasma flat panel, and projection display products.
