Smith Named as MantelMount VP of Wholesale Operations

Will head all aspects of the company’s B2B sales channel efforts.

MantelMount has announced that Michael N. Smith has joined MantelMount as the company’s new Vice President of Wholesale Operations. In his role, Smith will be responsible for all aspects of MantelMount’s business-to-business sales channel efforts, including strategy, sales, marketing, and improving operational and technology infrastructure.

Prior to joining MantelMount, Smith served as senior vice president of operations, IT & Marketing at Directed, LLC, North America’s largest designer and marketer of consumer-branded vehicle security and remote start systems. He also held various management positions at Ford Motor Company and at Wingcast, a joint venture between Ford and Qualcomm.

“Throughout my career, I’ve actively sought to associate with market leaders and pioneers, like Directed, Ford, and Qualcomm,” he notes. “I saw that MantelMount was doing things that no one else in the TV mount space was doing. What’s more, I got a glimpse at the innovations that they had coming down the road, and I was extremely impressed. After meeting with them, I knew I wanted to be a part of a team that displayed such vision, both in terms of engineering, technology and market direction.”
