Sonance Names New COO

Sonance has promoted Patrick McGaughan to chief operating officer to fill the vacancy left when Ari Supran moved from COO to CEO in September.

McGaughan joined Sonance in May of 2007 as chief financial officer and will now expand his leadership role to assume responsibility for the company’s day-to-day operations.

His responsibilities include finance, administrative, operations, and business planning and he brings a wide range of expertise in functional areas such as supply-chain management and process improvement programs to his new role. In addition, McGaughan will retain CFO responsibilities.

“Patrick is a great team player and has been instrumental in implementing business processes across our organization which have helped us achieve our business objectives and better serve our customers,” Supran stated.

Prior to joining Sonance, McGaughan had accumulated 15 years of professional experience in finance/operational roles, including seven years as CFO at Bravo Sports and most recently Young & Rubicam Brands. Previously, he worked at Deloitte and Touche, where he provided accounting and consulting services to Fortune 500 companies.
