SupplyStream Expands Dealer Base with HTSA Program

SupplyStream will partner with Home Technology Specialists of America (HTSA) to offer special programs to HTSA members.

SupplyStream will partner with Home Technology Specialists of America (HTSA) to offer special programs to HTSA members.

“Our continued growth and success depends on that of our members, with that in mind we as an organization are constantly looking for new tools and strategies that can help our members propel their businesses forward,” said Bob Hana, HTSA managing director. “The decision to partner with SupplyStream and offer this innovative solution to HTSA members was an easy one — the platform allows our members to operate more efficiently and collaborate more strategically.”

SupplyStream collects and organizes industry product information (including pricing, availability, specifications, and videos) and then presents it in a web catalog and wholesale marketplace, unique to every user. With this catalog, SupplyStream offers dealers a single place to research, propose, and order all of their products online. Tangible benefits to HTSA dealers and vendors include:

•A system for keeping product data up-to-date through a simple data feed, taking the burden off the vendors
•A user-friendly web platform that makes it easy for dealers to place orders for all product categories, to all HTSA vendors, from one place
•Access to the industry’s most comprehensive online product catalog for dealer members
•Access to a simple and efficient web-based proposal tool for dealer members

SupplyStream makes it easy for vendors to provide product data, pricing, and availability through a simplified, secure data feed that can be quickly setup and fully automated. This allows vendors to communicate price changes, new products, and promotions out to authorized dealers in real time. With current pricing and product data available to dealers, vendors can improve operational efficiencies by streamlining the ordering process through a standardized format of receiving orders while giving dealers the online buying experience they’ve come to expect as consumers.

“We partnered with HTSA because of their mission to empower their members with valuable tools and data to optimize their businesses and drive success,” said Kirk Chisholm, founder and CEO, SupplyStream. “With SupplyStream, vendors are now empowered to provide real time product information, pricing, and availability to dealers with virtually zero upfront cost. Having that information at your fingertips in the form of a complete dealer catalog is what makes SupplyStream unique, and it’s why HTSA understood and fully embraced it for their members. We’re thrilled to have HTSA and their world-class members as partners.”

As part of HTSA’s continuing online training series for dealers, SupplyStream will showcase the platform so members can see the tool first hand in an interactive format. The training will walk HTSA members through SupplyStream’s impressive technology and demonstrate how dealers can find pricing and availability, create proposals, and place orders with HTSA vendors all within the SupplyStream platform.

Through the special dealer program, HTSA dealers will also receive full access to Invenshare.com, a private marketplace for dealers to buy, sell and trade excess inventory.
