Thiel, Monster Execs Appear on CNBC

Thiels Kathy Gornik and Noel Lee of Monster were guests on December 19 episode of The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch.

Lexington, KY–The December 19 airing of CNBCs The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch featured guests Kathy Gornik, co-owner and president of Thiel Loudspeakers, a manufacturer of high-performance loudspeakers, and Noel Lee, CEO of Monster, which manufacturers premium cables, power conditioning products, and accessories.

The episode with Gornik and Lee, filmed at CNBC headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, was one of a four-part series titled, The Road to CES, highlighting entrepreneurs that have used, or plan to use, the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas as a means to establish and grow their businesses.

Gornik and Lee were asked to cite examples of how participation in the CES show has benefited them, followed by a segment where Gornik and Lee offered advice to husband/wife entrepreneurial team Bruce and M.G. Howard, founders of LightGlove.

Gornik and Lee are both members of the Consumer Electronics Associations executive board, which sponsors CES. The 2008 CES runs from January 7-10, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
