Thiel Audio’s Ken Dawkins has accepted a position on the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) Home Audio Division Board. Dawkins is vice president of North American sales for Thiel and has been with the company for 10 years.

“I am excited for the opportunity to represent Thiel Audio as a member of the Home Audio Division Board and offer my constructive input as a long standing member of the high-performance audio community,” Dawkins commented. “I believe I can bring value to the board representing the needs of smaller audio companies and the challenges they face such as increased exposure to a younger demographic,” Dawkins noted.

Through a variety of committees and working groups, the Home Audio Division Board is charged with maintaining a vital understanding of rapidly changing technology and product design that pique consumer interest by providing new ways for people to enjoy music. The Home Audio Division Board will create initiatives on behalf of the audio category such as promotions, research, technology, and standards, education and training, and emerging technologies.
