Tributaries Cable recently recognized three representatives for their service to the company.

Mike Pecar Sales, which has represented Tributaries in the Michigan, Ohio, and West Pennsylvania territory since Tributaries inception in 1991, was named as Tributaries’ Rep of the Year for 2009.
Tributaries president Joe Perfito noted that the economy in Mike Pecar’s territory was hit first and harder than any in the country. Pecar and his associates, Walter Jezewski and Darsi Martin, worked together to draw on special relationships with their dealers and manufacturers allowing them to stand out and prosper during these tough times, Perfito noted.
“Mike Pecar Sales exemplifies the highest ideals of a manufacturer’s representative organization. Their commitment, dedication, and responsiveness to the dealers and Tributaries have earned our greatest respect and deepest gratitude,” Perfito added. “We are proud to have them represent Tributaries to the dealer community and our honored to have them as part of our team.”
Tributaries also honored Pete Heiniger of Tandem Marketing in Minnesota and Rich Fairbrother of Taylor Sales in the Upstate New York territory for winning the manufacturer’s “Rookies of the Year” awards. Normally, Tributaries will only present one Rookie award, but it’s rare to have two reps that significantly exceed expectations in the same year, especially with the challenges that 2009 presented, according to Perfito.
“We have been particularly impressed with their hard work and how fast they have learned a great deal of information regarding the products and how to best serve the needs of the manufacturers and the dealers they call on,” Perfito said. “The Rookie Award is in recognition of the enthusiastic dedication and genuine respect these reps have for their customers, company and the products and staff of Tributaries. We congratulate them and encourage them to keep up the fantastic work.”
