Simi Valley, CA — It did not take long for RTI’s new west coast distribution plan to pay off. The control products manufacturer, which had been distributed exclusively through AVAD until just recently, helped Volutone set attendance records last week with its Advanced Control University Certified Trainings in Volutone locations and hotel meeting rooms in the West.
Volutone was awarded the RTI remote control line up to distribute just the month before and had little time to arrange trainings. “We actually had hundreds of our dealers respond to the training and quickly rearranged the schedules and locations to accommodate RTI trainer, Clint Forberg,” said Volutone vice president, Trevor Hansen. “We have a tremendous relationship with our dealers and they support the lines we offer them.”
Nearly 200 Volutone dealers attended RTI’s Level Two Integration Designer Control System Programming class in Van Nuys, California.
During its Van Nuys training session, May 15 at the Airtel Plaza Hotel, nearly 200 Volutone dealers attended the Level Two Integration Designer Control System Programming to become RTI Level Two Advanced Programmers. “There were more integrators in attendance at this training than at our CEDIA training,” said RTI’s western regional sales manager, Andrew Werdean.
Volutone offers system design assistance and quality accredited courses as well as business classes to improve its dealers’ selling skills; earning referrals and accounting assistance for their dealers that help improve their professionalism. Volutone has seven locations in California and Southern Nevada.
