The series’ two 9.2-channel AVRs are the $2,199-suggested 9×150-watt RX-A3020 and 9×140-watt $1,699 RX-A2020. The three 7.2-channel models are the $1,195 7×110-watt RX-A1020, 7×100-watt $899 RX-A820, and 7×90-watt $699 RX-A720.

Their HDMI 4K video up-scaling feature up-scales from analog as well as from digital video sources, Yamaha said, with the new models will be in stores this month.

All new models also add full AVR control and multizone control from the company’s upgraded apps for Apple iOS and Android mobile devices and for the Kindle Fire tablet.
