Accell Adds MHL Cables

Accell has added its new MHL cables to the company’s expanding product line.

Accell has added its new MHL cables to the company’s expanding product line.

Accell’s certified MHL cables transmit uncompressed audio and video, allowing users to play games, watch movies or listen to music on an MHL-supported DTV, PC monitor or AV receiver.

Supporting Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL) technology, Accell’s flexible MHL cable easily fits into the port of an MHL-enabled smartphone or tablet, directly connecting it to an MHL-enabled display or receiver. Featuring a thin and lightweight design, the MHL cable reduces the connected weight for improved handling of the connected device.

“It’s been great to see more companies such as Accell developing thin, lightweight and portable cables. Consumers can carry these accessories wherever life takes them, seamlessly connecting mobile devices to larger displays,” said Michael Bergen, senior partner alliance manager, MHL, LLC. “Share photos with friends and family, play games with no lag and update presentations from hotel rooms to boardrooms – that’s the beauty of MHL.”

Accell’s MHL cables support MHL-enabled display devices and AV receivers featuring an MHL input. Available in 6.6-feet (2m) and 10-feet (3m) versions, Accell’s MHL cables have an MSRP of $17.99 and $21.99.
