Ambisonic Systems by Origin Acoustics has introduced its first dedicated high-performance planar ribbon home theater system, the Ambisonic Marquee Home Theater, which will be unveiled at CEDIA Expo 2024.
The Ambisonic Marquee Home Theater collection is comprised of the bi-amped AM5600 L/C/R front speakers, AM3600 surround speakers, AM2600IC in-ceiling speakers, AM2600IC angled in-ceiling speakers, AM3600A angled surround speakers, and AMB5600 10-inch in-wall subwoofer. All speakers include Ambisonic Systems magnetic planar ribbon tweeter and planar ribbon coaxial.
The Ambisonic Marquee Home Theater:
- Front of House — AM5600 LCR speakers are bi-amped and feature a 3-inch magnetic planar ribbon tweeter with exclusive waveguide, two 5.5-inch mid-range, and two 8-inch mid woofers made of woven fiberglass.
- Surrounds — AM3600 Surround speakers with a 3-inch magnetic planar ribbon tweeter, two 5.5-inch woven fiberglass woofers.
- In-Ceiling — AM2600IC Angled In-ceiling speaker can be positioned toward the listening area and features a 1.5-inch magnetic planar ribbon tweeter and an 8-inch coaxial planar ribbon. It’s designed to complete the system and fits into the standard Origin Acoustic 10-inch cut-out.
- Height Channels — AM3600A Angled Surround speakers that can be used as a height speaker or rear surround speaker and features 1.5-inch magnetic planar ribbon tweeter and an 8-inch coaxial planar ribbon.
- Subwoofer — AMB5600 Subwoofer delivers maximum power and efficiency and features dual 10-inch fiberglass woofers. At less than 4 inches deep, it easily fits into standard stud walls.
The Ambisonic Marquee speakers and subwoofer are made of premium and durable extruded aluminum, except for the AM2600A which is made of MDF and are available in both slim on-wall and discreet in-wall configurations.
