The company’s goal was to create an infra-subwoofer capable of producing linear, effortless energy beneath 20 Hz, all within a footprint compact enough to fit behind a cinema screen. Rather than relying on a single oversized driver, Artcoustic engineered four 12-inch units to work together in phase alignment. Their combined cone area and excursion equal that of a 24-inch driver, but with significantly lower distortion, higher thermal headroom, and superior long-term reliability.
The Sub 4-12 INFRA has been engineered for maximum flexibility, enabling it to be integrated into a wide range of applications. Its rigid enclosure and the driver layout make it suitable for multiple mounting orientations without compromising performance.
Aesthetics match performance in flexibility. The Sub 4-12 INFRA is available in standard black or white, or can be custom finished in any NCS 1950/2050 or RAL Classic color.
