Harman Luxury Audio Group has announced that the JBL Synthesis SMA Series amplifiers are now available in North America. Featuring built-in DSPs for custom loudspeaker tuning and system configuration, the amps are designed for residential cinema applications with a CI-focused UI, balanced XLR inputs, and binding post speaker terminals. Packing flexible high-power output into a 2RU chassis, these amplifiers will be the core of the JBL Synthesis electronics lineup complementing the SDP processors and SCL and SSW loudspeaker systems.

The SMA-4750 and SMA-8300 are state-of-the-art Class D multichannel DSP amplifiers that cater to both high-power and high-channel count systems. With advanced features like bridgeable channels, full input and output Hi-Resolution DSP suite, and DANTE/AES67 digital audio networking, these amplifiers are ideal for powering large LCR, surround, and height channel loudspeakers, as well as subwoofers in JBL Synthesis immersive audio systems.
Key features of the JBL Synthesis SMA-4750 and SMA-8300:
- SMA-4750: A versatile 4-channel amplifier delivering 750W per channel at 8 ohms, with the capability to bridge adjacent channels to provide up to 1800W at 8 ohms. This model is perfect for powering large loudspeakers and subwoofers, ensuring rich and powerful sound quality.
