Creator In-Wall Large Benefits
- Multiple, Smaller Bass Drivers: Smaller drivers have lower mass, allowing them to respond more quickly to audio signals. This results in tighter, more controlled bass and better transient response, enhancing the clarity and precision of low-frequency sounds. Multiple smaller drivers can also distribute sound more evenly across a room, which improves dispersion and creates a more balanced, consistent listening experience.
- Tier 2 & 3 Mid-Pod Array: Tier 2 and Tier 3 In-Wall Large models feature a rotatable HF/MF mid-pod array. The mid-pod array can be rotated to allow speakers to be positioned within a vertical or horizontal plain to suit the application at the installation stage. When the mid-pod is rotated for LCR applications, this solution ensures optimized sound directionality for different system requirements and enhanced stereo imaging and spatial accuracy.
- Patented Quik-Link Terminal: The unique Quik-Link connector enables speaker cables to be pre-fitted and terminated before the need to install the physical speaker. So, when the time is right, the Quik-Link terminal and the speaker can be connected securely via “snap” magnets and a locking latch mechanism. It’s quick, simple, and enables greater efficiency.
- Reduced Cabinet Vibration and Distortion: The combined output of multiple smaller drivers can match or exceed the output of a single large driver, but with less cone excursion. Reduced cone movement lowers distortion and cabinet resonance, maintaining cleaner sound even at high volumes.
- Large Back Box Option: The Creator Series In-Wall Large models can be supplied and fitted with a dedicated Back Box. Specifically designed with the largest possible volume to perform at its most optimum, the Large Back Box provides enhanced acoustic performance, consistent and balanced audio, and reduced sound transmission between other rooms and spaces. The Large Back Box provides simplified installation with a defined mounting space, aiding in more accurate speaker positioning and simplifying the speed and installation process for integrators.
- Tri-Grip II: Tri-Grip II is a new dog-leg mechanism that is considerably stronger and more reliable than the previous generation. The new mechanism relies on a dual-thread 4mm screw and a brass insert. This combination provides a solid connection between the dog leg and the product. In addition to the new screw thread, there is a latch system that keeps the dog leg in the home position while the product is being installed or removed from the ceiling, while cushioned pads on the ends of the dog legs soften the impact against plasterboard, for a firmer, more secure grip.
