Russound has introduced a new selection of multichannel digital amplifiers at ISE 2023. The series, which will ship in Q3, features the eight-channel D860, the 12-channel D1260, and the 16-channel D1660. The D1260 is the first 12-channel amplifier offered by Russound.
The new three-model selection builds upon the previous line’s reputation for accurate, full-range sonic reproduction across multiple zones, with a new industrial design and slimmer chassis. Inside, Russound amps now include low- and high-pass filters so that any channel can be used with a subwoofer.
All three amplifiers are rack-mountable with Bus and Direct input options. Power ratings are 65 watts per channel @ 8 ohms, 95 watts per channel @4 ohms, and 190 watts per channel @8 ohms bridged.
Both the D860 and D1260 measure 1U. The D1660 measures 2U.
