Josh.ai Announces QSX Support for Lutron HomeWorks and Ketra Systems

Users will be able to adjust the brightness, color, vibrancy, and temperature of Ketra lights.

Josh.ai

Josh.ai continues expanding the power of artificial intelligence in the home with its updated Lutron support. Integration with the QSX processor for HomeWorks enables Josh.ai’s proprietary voice automation, intuitively designed app, and privacy-focused approach to home control to blend into the aesthetic of any project.

The integration provides feature parity across Josh.ai’s app and voice interfaces. Users will be able to adjust the brightness, color, vibrancy, and temperature of Ketra lights in whatever fashion feels most natural.

After a button press authenticates the QSX processor for HomeWorks, Josh.ai utilizes Lutron’s state-of-the-art LEAP integration protocol to automatically pull in Lutron’s floor plan configuration and device programming. The instant discovery and control of Lutron devices has been built with the installer in mind to expedite the implementation process.  Supported devices within Josh.ai’s native control will include Ketra (Clear Connect Wireless – Type X), dimmable lights, switched loads, shades, fans, and keypads. Thermostat compatibility will roll out in a future update.

Clients will experience convenience and ambiance when setting the mood to their exact specifications. For example, commands like “Ok Josh, make the lights cooler” and “Ok Josh, turn the sconces to 2100 Kelvin” open up a range of possibilities. The integration becomes more transformative when giving complex requests like, “OK Josh, make the lights on the first floor tangerine, draw the living room shades, and listen to Carlos Santana in the dining room.”
