Basalte (Booth 5349) will introduce Deseo, its new HVAC control panel for Lutron HomeWorks QS and Crestron systems, at CEDIA 2016.

Deseo is an intelligent HVAC control panel with touch-sensitive sensors. It is designed to offer a simple OLED user interface to control the Lutron HomeWorks QS or Crestron HVAC system and lights in a room. Deseo is available in a number of different finishes and features a refined look to help blend in with nearly any architectural style.

“Deseo can be used to conveniently manage temperature, fan speed and modes,” said Klaas Arnout, Basalte CEO. “In standby mode, Deseo shows the current temperature and time. Touch the upper or lower surface to raise or lower your temperature set point. Touch left and right to change fan speed and modes.

“A nice additional feature is the multitouch to quickly turn the lights on and off, using a welcome and goodbye scene. It is the perfect solution for convenient light control without an abundance of keypads on the wall.”

Deseo is an RS-485 keypad, which connects to the Lutron HomeWorks QS or Crestron processor over IP, using the Basalte Serial.link. Availabilities & technical documentation will be released soon.
