The Cleerline Technology Group has introduced a fiber-to-PoE+ Ethernet switch (part # SSF-1SFPx4RJ45POE-1G) that enables integrators to connect endpoint devices to a fiber infrastructure in any zone. Cleerline’s compact switch provides four RJ45 PoE+ ports that automatically determine PoE+ requirements such as speed, duplex, and cable type using Auto Uplink, making this switch a critical tool for residential and commercial integrators.

“This new, highly stable switch from Cleerline facilitates fast and reliable connectivity between a Cleerline fiber network and Ethernet-equipped PoE endpoint devices,” explains Rick Sant, managing partner at Cleerline Technology Group. “To accommodate every application, the SSF-1SFPx4RJ45POE-1G emits minimal heat and features a slimline housing with built in mounting brackets — simplifying installation in confined areas such as behind a flat panel display or within a small equipment cabinet.”
The SSF-1SFPx4RJ45POE-1G is a 100/1000Base-X to Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000Base-T non managed PoE switch. The provided SFP slot allows both Gigabit and Fast Ethernet operation and can accept all SFP types, including Multimode, Single-mode, CWDM, DWDM, or BiDi. The PoE+ switch automatically determines PoE+ requirements, speed, duplex, and cable type using Auto Uplink.
