Designed for integration inside On-Q plastic and metal enclosures, the switch provides installers with a clean, enclosure-ready solution that supports today’s increasingly connected homes.
As homeowners continue adding IP cameras, wireless access points, streaming platforms, and whole-home automation systems, residential networks must deliver greater bandwidth and higher PoE power budgets, all within compact infrastructure spaces. The DA8800WH features eight Gigabit Ethernet ports and delivers up to 120 watts of total PoE+ power, enabling multiple connected devices to be powered directly from the structured wiring enclosure.
By pairing Gigabit speeds up to 1000 Mbps with PoE+ capability, the switch supports bandwidth-intensive applications while reducing the need for separate power injectors or additional hardware, helping installers streamline system layouts and minimize equipment clutter.
Unlike many third-party switches that require brackets or improvised mounting, the DA8800WH is purpose-built for compatibility within On-Q enclosures. The DA8800WH supports Energy Efficient Ethernet (IEEE 802.3) standards to help reduce power consumption during periods of low network activity. Each unit includes an external power adapter and mounting hardware and is backed by a five-year limited warranty.
