KanexPro Launches UltraSlim HDMI 2.0 Extenders UltraSlim HDMI 2.0 Extenders over HDBaseT support HDR and 4:4:4 Chroma By RS Staff Published: June 12, 2017 ⋅ Updated: April 15, 2019 KanexPro’s new 4K/60Hz extenders feature a transmitter and receiver, fully equipped with support for HDR, 4:4:4 Chroma, and flexible PoH (Power over HDBaseT). The line of extenders will debut in booth 3481 at InfoComm this week. KanexPro’s UltraSlim 4K/60 HDMI 2.0 Extender over HDBaseT (EXT-70SL18G and EXT-100SL18G) is a transmitter and receiver set designed for residential and commercial distribution of 4K Ultra HD signals. Enabling integrators to extend uncompressed 4K Ultra HD signals up to 230 feet (70 meters) or obtain full HD 1080p/60 up to 330 feet (100m) over single Cat-5e/6 cable using HDBaseT technology, the UltraSlim Extender is compliant with HDCP 2.2. Supporting PoH enables power to be received from either side of the sender or receiver, the UltraSlim Extenders require one power supply and enables IR and RS-232 pass-through to control 4K displays. “The UltraSlim HDMI 2.0 Extenders is our flagship line of products for everyday applications that require constant and reliable distribution of HDMI high resolution video and audio devices to remote displays,” said Kashyap Khetia, senior product marketing manager for KanexPro. “Ideally, our UltraSlim HDMI 2.0 Extenders are designed for use as digital signage signal extenders at restaurants, house of worship centers, schools, or data centers or simply for connected homes.”
