KEF has further added to its assortment of custom installation (Ci) loudspeakers with the introduction of the Classic Ci Series, a line of high performance yet cost-effective in-ceiling loudspeakers that offer the traditional styling of the original Ci Series combined with the performance of KEF’s 2-way C Series Ci speakers.
By mounting the woofers as close as possible to the plane of the wall within a home, the KEF Ci Series eliminates diffraction and further improves the speakers’ off-axis response. KEF’s Classic Ci Series loudspeakers feature KEF’s “Tangerine” Waveguide which provides an even greater level of dispersion and driver protection. Each speaker also features KEF’s unique Asymmetrical Tweeter Island which further reduces high frequency diffraction and enhances off-axis, high frequency response, allowing the tweeter and woofer to have impressively-matched off-axis power response.

The Classic Ci Series features 6.5-inch woofers and 3/4-inch aluminum dome tweeters to maximize output and deliver sonic performance.
Like KEF’s entire Ci Series range, the Classic series features KEF’s special grille treatments which includes a proprietary powder-coating process, moisture-resistant fixing and other special materials to withstand humid and salt spray conditions such as bathroom, near pools, beside the ocean or on a boat.
