K.I.S.S. AV, a startup in high-performance home audio products, has launched a crowd-funding campaign on Kickstarter for its 2.1-channel on-wall speakers system with subwoofer. The X4 speakers and 06 wireless subwoofer utilize Sonic Vortex Technology, the patented speaker design first used in Beale Street speakers.

Sonic Vortex Technology was invented and patented by K.I.S.S. AV found Jim Murray, who is no longer affiliated with Beale Street.

At less than two pounds each and three inches thick, the speakers are light enough to mount with Command Strips.

The K.I.S.S. AV Kickstarter campaign is live until September. Early bird pledges on Kickstarter can purchase the left and right speaker for $199. Pledges, however, range from $5 to $2,600-plus and award backers anything from a Sonic Vortex T-shirt to six K.I.S.S. AV X4 06 2.1-channel speaker systems to outfit every room of the house. All backers will receive a personal thank you from the team and updates about K.I.S.S. AV’s progress and manufacturing process throughout the campaign.

Information and pricing for the various Kickstarter pledges is available here.
