Leaf has released its Leaf LTPTP-F HDBaseT Extender, able to reliably deliver multiple signal formats, including control and data, according to the company.

The LTPTP-F supports 4K 24fps resolution content, and has the ability to transmit HDMI over longer distances by way of a single standard Cat6 cable.

The Leaf LTPTP-F extends uncompressed HDMI content up to 330 feet (100 meters) via HDBaseT without any signal degradation. In addition to HDMI in and out, the LTPTP-F passes IR and RS-232 transmission, and does not require a power source at the receiver, providing integrators with a comprehensive signal and control solution. The LTPTP-F also features a wall rack mount plate, affording simple installation.

“AV distribution requirements are constantly evolving,” said Dean Vaughan, CEO of Leaf. “As consumers demand more from their audio and video solutions, Leaf is prepared to deliver. With the ability to seamlessly transmit 4K 24fps signals, our new HDBaseT Extender Solution equips dealers with a dependable solution that can deliver true uncompressed HD signals over a single wire, running up to 330 feet – that’s precision at its best.”

Whether specified into a complete control system or utilized as a standalone AV solution, the LTPTP-F HDBaseT Extender supplies dealers with a high-end yet low-cost signal extension solution that is both simple to implement and delivers a consistent performance, Leaf says.
