This newest addition to Liberty Wire & Cable’s DigitaLinx family of products, is a compact system designed to transmit true HDMI signals, not an analog version of a digital signal, over already installed coaxial cable, eliminating the need to run all-new wires throughout a home or office.
Liberty’s device is designed to be easily installed and use, and works with the RGBHV coax cables typically used for VGA or component signals. Liberty’s system is the only HDMI extender designed to function using the HDMI 1.3 standard at a high enough speed (10.2 Gbps) to future-proof new installations.
Tests indicate 1080p performance at distances of more than 300 feet with common cables.
