AiSPiRE To Introduce STRUT at CEDIA Expo 2021

STRUT provides a connected system of smart architectural LED solutions.

AiSPiRE will feature a 20 x 50 booth demonstrating “Four Experiences of Light,” a new product line called STRUT, a Low Voltage DC option for Integrators, and more at the 2021 CEDIA Expo AiSPiRE/WAC Lighting booth #6758.

According to the company, the STRUT System of architectural solutions is one of the only lighting, power, and control systems complete with lighting elements designed for discriminating technical performance, STRUT incorporates direct and indirect illumination, wall wash, downlighting, accent lighting, and pendants utilizing connected control technologies to give clients a personalized and modular experience.

STRUT is built upon problem-solving lighting solutions for the most irritating and costly challenges in today’s high-end residential projects. This system is modular, adjustable, user-friendly, and future-proof, developed with advancements in optics, LEDs, sensors, and controls. The modular system allows you to configure standard components for a customized 48V DC lighting solution. The magnetic infrastructure allows you to slide elements within the STRUT and adjust lighting effects while powered on-site. The Vacancy Photo Sensor is two devices in one; tuned in for human detection and an ambient light sensor to adjust illumination for daylight harvesting and balanced electric lighting.

Fully customizable, STRUT can adapt to changing in-process design decisions. Architectural Channels can be suspended, surface mounted, or recessed with or without covers, and can be field cut to fit on the jobsite. This low-profile infrastructure adds modern convenience and is appealing in scale to modern spaces. For high ceilings, choose Suspended Channels with low-profile aircraft cable or stem supports. Surface Mounted Channels are ideal for lower ceilings and can be operated with a remote or surface mounted CPU. Channel covers that match the black or white finish are available to hide gaps between the lighting elements. Recessed Channels mount flush with ceilings and walls to take advantage of the many discreet lighting elements offered in the system. Recessed Trimless Channels install flush with the drywall for a seamless look with the utmost architectural fit and finish.

Direct Lighting is delivered with three lumen packages, four CCTs, and a flush or regressed option for superior glare control. Indirect lighting provides high output and a diffused option for indirect reflected illumination. Stealth Wall Wash provides a discriminating wall wash performance from a sleek package that hides within the Architectural Channel. STRUT also includes Stealth Downlights that feature low-glare optics and Multi Stealth Downlights which are available in a 4-light, 8-light and 16-light and with various finishes.

The tiny 450-lumen Stealth Silo operates as both an accent and downlight that hides within the channel profile and can still shape the beam from 15–50 degrees. The Silo Adjustable is a discreet cylinder design with a dynamic focus beam shaping mechanism ranging from 15–40 degrees. The Silo cylinder spotlight is also available with fixed beams of Spot, Narrow, or Flood using TIR lens technology for superior lumen output.

The FollowMe Silo motorized LED Accent, used in conjunction with the WAC app or beacon, adjusts to highlight frequently moved objects such as plants in home theaters and office lobbies, and artwork in galleries and studios, without climbing a ladder. The FollowMe Silo also features 15–40-degree beam spread adjustment, and 180-degree vertical tilt and 360-degree horizontal rotation. Geometric pendants include Niveous, which is designed with an etched triplex opal mouthblown glass orb, and Elementum, a luminous opal glass cylinder to draw attention to areas central to interaction. The Silo Pendant is a functional cylinder light that rotates for continuous 15–45-degree beam adjustment with a suspension cable that retracts inside the body for height adjustment.

AiSPiRE is introducing four new “Experiences of Light,” including the Top-of-the-line AURORA, an upscale offering of luminaires designed for connected living. Full Visible Spectrum color tuning LEDs with color correcting optical technology offer human-centric recessed downlighting catering to the needs of the modern technologist and integrator. Choose any color you can imagine, including the crispest white light or the softest pastel light with the ability to control saturation and hue for full color gamut control with gradients of saturated colors from 1–100 percent and a Tunable White CCT range from 1650K–8000K. More styles are available with HCL programming.

ATMOSPHERE is a new line of Natural Tunable White Fixtures for the discerning client as it mimics the natural light of the Sun and offers a full blackbody curve with a CCT range of 2700K to 6500K. ATMOSPHERE luminaires can be programmed to change throughout the day to coordinate with natural light or statically programmed to enhance the interior finishes. ATMOSPHERE brings the dynamic power of natural light indoors, allowing the Custom integrator to select and program the color temperature that best enhances the client’s lifestyle, by room or by time of day.

ASTRO is a new line of Dim-to-Warm lighting that recreates the incandescent dimming curve with no required programming. By mimicking an incandescent lamp’s dimming appearance, AiSPiRE is able to shift color temperature and create a visually comfortable and innately familiar emotion while still benefitting from the energy savings and long life of LEDs. ASTRO offers several dim-to-warm options, delivering a range from a 3000K White Light — the color of halogen — to a warm 1800 Kelvin.

Entry-level ALPINE luminaires use Static White light in color constant LED luminaires of either 2700K or 3000K temperatures and are available with both low and line voltage wiring.
