Lutron Electronics has announced the launch of Palladiom drapery, the newest addition to its premium Palladiom family. Marking a global product launch, Palladiom drapery is an exposed-rod solution that carries the design language of the Palladiom family into decorative drapery applications, with four end-treatment options, including a finial created with Swarovski Crystals.
Palladiom drapery was developed in response to the growing popularity of soft window treatments, which add texture, drama, and dimension to a space. Combining the slender refinement of a traditional rod with the simplicity of automated movement, it offers a sophisticated solution that complements this design trend. Demand for automated window treatments continues to grow, with 56% of designers now incorporating them into their projects, according to Lutron’s 2026 Luxury Residential Trend Report, Living with Light.
Palladiom drapery reimagines the traditional drapery rod with a slender unibody design that brings a clean, elevated presence to luxury residential interiors. Featuring a sleek profile, the system conceals the majority of its automation components within the rod itself, creating a refined exposed-rod appearance. Crafted from lightweight yet rigid aluminum, the system delivers the structural integrity required to support substantial textiles while maintaining the elegant, minimalist profile synonymous with Palladiom products.
Available in five hand-crafted finishes — Pure White, Black Anodized, Clear Anodized, Bronze Anodized, and Satin Nickel — Palladiom drapery accommodates a broad range of fabrics while integrating seamlessly with Lutron’s control ecosystem. Palladiom drapery is available with three end treatment options — End Bracket, End Cap, and Finial — giving designers flexibility to tailor the system to different aesthetic preferences.

For Palladiom drapery, Lutron teamed up with Swarovski to create an exclusive finial that celebrates the craftsmanship and precision shared by both brands. Together, the teams developed a custom-cut crystal specifically for Palladiom drapery, refining its geometry, proportion, and interaction with light through multiple design iterations. Seamlessly integrated into the machined aluminum finial and coordinated to each finish, the result is an understated detail that quietly elevates the architectural expression of the system.
