Mozaex has released Bravo, its all-in-one Blu-ray and multi-room music entertainment server.

“For the first time, the Bravo offers a whole-house solution that combines a single-room Blu-ray player and four independent music players that can play unique music or the same music in up to six different zones,” Mozaex CEO Douglas Kihm said. The all-in-one Mozaex Bravo system includes up to 4TBs of media storage and allows the instant playback of Blu-ray movies, photo slideshows, and online media plus the playback from four independent music players.
The Bravo’s Blu-ray player plays media including Blu-ray with 7.1 HD audio and DVD movies, photos and online media channels, including on-demand NetFlix movies and Pandora music via the Mozaex NetPlay online media service.
Storage and playback zones may be expanded by adding a Mozaex storage server with up to 16TBs of RAID 6 storage and media playback players.
The Bravo’s control flexibility results in unprecedented ease, elegance, and excitement, operable by both an on-screen TV interface and via two-way iPhone and other control systems.
“Bravo incorporates a six-port audio switch so the user can easily select which music they want to listen to in the room they are located in, or sync a playlist of songs to play in multiple zones,” Kihm explained. “For example, with Bravo the user can watch a Blu-ray movie in one room while someone else can listen to five different songs, or the same song, synched together in a ‘party mode’ in five different zones.”
The Bravo can automatically import music from iTunes and other networked PCs throughout the home. With the two-way graphical cover art and iPhone interface, the user can wirelessly control playback of any music in any room in the home.
To minimize on-site service, Mozaex includes with every Bravo a service utility called SurePlay that allows the dealer or Mozaex to easily login to the Bravo to perform period checkups and update software. In addition, an EasyUp™ utility allows users to easily perform updates to the Mozaex software.
