Sanus Launches Speaker Accessories for Sonos One Compatible speaker solutions from Sanus for the new Sonos One allow placement flexibility, offering both a traditional speaker stand and on-wall mount options.By RS Staff Published: October 9, 2017 ⋅ Updated: April 15, 2019 Sanus is launching the Wireless Speaker Stand and Wireless Speaker Wall Mount wireless speaker solutions for the Sonos One smart speaker, as well as the Sonos favorites PLAY:1 and PLAY:3. The Wireless Speaker Stand allows placement flexibility and enables integration of their Sonos technology into an immersive surround system setup. Securely holding speakers at the manufacturer’s recommended height for voice-activated interaction and optimized audio dispersion, this 34-inch-tall stand enables optimum bass response. The Wireless Speaker Wall Mount facilitates placement on drywall, wood studs, or concrete. The tilt- and swivel-capable mount bypasses the need for a threaded insert, due to Sanus’ exclusive InvisiGrip technology, which snugly holds the speaker in place. Although InvisiGrip is designed specifically for the Sonos One, the mount also supports existing Sonos models, the PLAY:1 and PLAY:3, both with threaded inserts. “Our goal was to find a way to safely, yet discreetly, attach the Sonos One to our mount without a screw insert,” said Sanus senior product manager, Mark Plummer. “Our product development team came up with several concepts, but the one we all fell in love with was InvisiGrip. It securely wraps around the speaker and essentially disappears as it blends in with the speaker, making sure the beautiful aesthetic and awesome acoustics of the Sonos One are preserved.” Like all Sanus products, both the speaker stand and the wall mount are safety-tested and UL-certified. These two new products round out the complete set of Wireless Solutions that Sanus currently offers for Sonos PLAYBAR, PLAYBASE, PLAY:1, PLAY:3, and other wireless speakers. The new products were released to market last week and will be available for purchase on sonos.com and sanus.com. They will be sold in black or white, and as either singles or pairs.
