Residential Systems magazine has launched the Resi Report, a new online video feature, hosted by its popular columnist, Rich Riehl. The bi-monthly video essay features industry trends analysis and news commentary, in addition to an online forum page for interactive discussions.
“The concept behind the Resi Report was to further enliven the already provocative editorial topics of magazine columnist, Rich Riehl, in an online, video format,” explained Residential Systems magazine editor, Jeremy Glowacki. “By linking the Resi Report to an online discussion forum, we also hope to facilitate constructive discussions between out-spoken members of the custom installation community.”
In the current Resi Report (www.resmagonline.com), Riehl expresses his optimism regarding the recently introduced high-definition video disc technologies and explores the pros and cons of CEDIA’s planned second EXPO trade show to be held April 18-21, in Las Vegas.
Riehl, the author of Residential Systems’ monthly “Last Word” column, has written for the magazine since its inception in January 2000. A former custom installation business owner in Colorado, Riehl is now a Los Angeles-based consultant to the CI business and creator of a proposal software package, called BidMagicAV.
