New HDMI and matrix selector switches, and HDBaseT extender bring 4K-compatibility to residential AV installations.

Vanco has announced the addition of three new products from its Vanco and Evolution brands. The new solutions offer residential and commercial AV distributors and dealers with the latest in 4K-compatible, HDMI, and HDBaseT switch and extender technology.

Vanco HDSW4K31 – 3×1 Switch with HDR and CEC
The Vanco HDSW4K31 3×1 switch is HDCP 2.2 compliant, allows three HDMI sources to be switched to one display, and requires no external power supply. Supporting 4K@60 Hz and 4:4:4 Chroma subsampling, HDR10 and Dolby Vision and Consumer Electronic Control (CEC) pass-through, the HDSW4K31 is a multi-purpose accessory adding value to integrator tool kits.

Vanco 280688 – HDMI 4K 8×8 Matrix Selector Switch
Also HDCP compliant and allowing up to eight HDMI sources to be distributed simultaneously to up to eight displays, the 280688 HDMI 4K 8×8 matrix selector switch features Advanced EDID management for rapid integration of sources and displays. It also supports resolutions up to 4K@60 Hz with HDR, 48-bit deep color. The 280688 has the ability to pass through full 3D, wideband bi-directional IR (30 to 60 kHz), including eight IR transmitters and nine IR receivers, as well as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD master audio via the HDMI output. The 280688 also allows integrators to choose from four switching modes: front panel buttons, IR remote control, RS-232 control, and TCP/IP control.

Evolution EVEXKVM2 – 4K HDBaseT Extender with KVM
With the ability to transmit audio and video via HDMI, as well as provide complete KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse) functionality via USB 2.0 ports over a single Cat5e/6 up to 230ft/70m with POC, the EVEXKVM2 is a plug-and-play extender solution for any device that needs to be controlled with a keyboard and mouse. With USB 2.0 KVM, users can control a security NVR/DVR, computer, NAS system, or any other component that is controlled by USB with the EVEXKVM2 extender. And the Power Over Cable (PoC) integrates power into the Cat5e/6 cable, requiring no power supply for either the Transmitting unit or Receiving unit. The EVEXKVM2 also offers auto EDID management, which automatically adjusts to overcome compatibility issues, as well as auto EQ distance, for perfect transmission and reception of HDMI signals.

The Vanco HDSW4K31 and 280688 are available now. The EVEXKVM2 will be available February 2019.
